Critter Sitters originated in 1984 as one of the first in home pet-sitting companies in Kentucky.  Between 1984 and 2005, Critter Sitters had 3 previous owners who turned a creative concept into a thriving business.  In September of 2005 we bought Critter Sitters and focused on turning it into Lexington's professional and trusted in-home pet sitting service. 

Today, Critter Sitters is a leader in the local pet-sitting industry.  Together we have uniquely defined Critter Sitters by committing to professional and reliable services that develop loyal, repeat business.  We deliver quality services that allow our clients the safety and security of having their house appear "lived in" and maintain the normal routine and schedules of their pets, plants, mail, garbage, etc.

Sarah has had 9 years pet-sitting experience and devotes her life to working with and improving the lives of animals.  Sarah's true passion is working with animals, especially those with special needs.  Her experience and love for animals has helped to create a thriving business with a sound and proven pet philosophy: "there's no place like home."  

With 9 years marketing & sales experience and a Bachelors Degree in Business and Speech Communication from EKU, Samantha has helped develop the vision of Critter Sitters by heavily focusing on marketing, and building relationships within the community and pet industry. 

Sheryl is Critter Sitters Certified Pet Groomer and dog-walker, and is certified in pet CPR.  Sheryl started out bathing and blow drying at a local grooming shop in Savannah, Georgia and found her passion.  She later received her Pet Grooming Certification from Mount Ida College in Boston.  After certification, Sheryl worked at a local pet store who also offered grooming, and there learned how to also care for a variety of reptiles, fish, small animals, and birds.
